I absolutely love making and using whipped soap. It not only feels super luxurious on the skin but is also great for moisturizing. With the extra oils, colors, and fragrance it can have the look and feel for any occasion. In this case, I decided to use baby blue and baby pink colors. These are great for a baby shower gift idea, a baby shower favor, or just a great treat for yourself. The inspiration was a lovely fragrance I recently purchase called Baby’s breath. It is a very delicate and fresh fragrance with notes of grapefruit, bergamot, peach, lily, and musk.

Making whipped soap is very easy and only requires a few ingredients.
Ingredients and materials for the baby blue and pink super skin loving whipped soap
- 8 oz foaming bath butter
- 1 oz Golden Jojoba Oil
- 1 tsp Vitamin E Oil
- 2 ml Baby’s Breath Fragrance (I get mine from Brambleberry)
- 1/8 tsp Mica soap colorants in pink, and blue
- Hand mixer
- Mixing bowls
- 2 – 4 oz jars with lid
How to make baby blue and baby pink colors whipped soap
The foaming whipped soap base comes in a sealed plastic container and looks a lot like a regular melt and pour soap base but is softer and easy to whip. Separate 8 ounces from the foaming bath butter soap base container and whip for approximately two to three minutes. It will start to fluff and will be easier to whip.
I love using the foaming bath butter base because it is so readily available, but I’ve also made whipped soap base from scratch. It is also another great DIY to try.
Once the base has been whipped for a few minutes add the golden jojoba oil, vitamin E and Baby’s Breath fragrance. Continue to whip for another two to three minutes until fully combined and you get a wonderful fluffy and airy consistency.
Other oils that are great for this recipe and great for the skin that can replace the jojoba oil are sweet almond oil, grapeseed oil, or rice bran oil.
How to color the super skin loving whipped soap
Separate the whipped soap base into 2 equal parts. Add the mica colorants in pink and blue into each of the whipped soap containers.
I like to combine the mica colorants using a spatula first to avoid creating a cloud of colorant then mix with the hand mixer to fully combine.
To get the colors to remain separate, add the colored whipped soap to a large piece of cling wrap. Then fold and insert into a piping bag.
Lastly, pipe the whipped soap into the mason jars.
You can also scale up or down the recipe depending on how much you need. If you like this easy super skin loving whipped soap idea, I have added a list of other whipped soaps I’ve made at the end of this post.
These turned out great and I cannot wait to use them.
