Select a color pallet for your design.
Create a background: Procreate comes with lots of great brushes that you can use to create the background. I like exploring with the airbrushes and textures, you may have lots of other brushes available as well. Create something unique. In this design, I created two layers with various color brush strokes and changed the blend mode of the top layer to create something fun and unique.
Use the stamp brush to make unique flowers. I changed the colors and added different textures to each flower to create three unique flowers from the same stamp. You can create many more depending on the color pallet you picked and the composition you want to create.
Another way to make the flowers unique is to use distort and warp transformations to modify the flowers. This can also give some movement to the design as well.
Add details to the background. I used the same flower stamp brush and added the flower outline to the background varying the pressure. This made some of the background flowers at full opacity and some with less opacity to create some contrast.
Add overall top layers textures. I enjoy using textures in my designs and it is a great way to create some depth and variation to enhance the art.
