Easy 15 minutes DIY Cards
These handmade cards were inspired by our recent trip to the beach. We visited Galveston island for a short vacation and I was super excited to see the clean waters and a clean and nearly empty beach. We had a great time and enjoyed our short vacation so much. These handmade cards are inspired by the lovely colors of the sunsets we saw.

This is a quick and easy DIY and it will only take about 15 minutes. The final product will certainly be lovely and with great practical use.
Materials for beach themed handmade cards
- 8.5 x 11 inch cardstock paper
- Mulberry scrapbooking paper
- Extra strength craft bond glue sticks
- Beach themed stamps
- Stamping ink
- Paper Trimmer
How to make beach themed handmade cards:
Cut the cardstock paper in half on the long end. Measure 5 1/2 inches and cut using scissors or a small paper trimmer guillotine.
Next cut the scrapbooking paper in various sizes and lay out the design for the handmade cards. I used orange, purple, pink, and yellow paper scraps. I chose to put some of the paper diagonally and others vertically creating an abstract look.
Once ready with the layout use the glue stick to glue the back of the scrapbook paper and glue it to the front of the cards in the designed pattern.
Lastly, stamp the handmade cards with the beach themed stamps. I used a starfish stamp and a Sahara sand color ink.
And that is it, wait for the cards to dry and use them for the next thank you note or just to send a note to those you love.
This project was fun to make. Although it was very simple it was enjoyable to work on it and get creative today. It was great to remember the fun times at the beach with the family.

Jasmine, these are so beautiful! You definitely have a talent. I used to make hand-made cards several years ago, but haven’t for some time. You make me consider getting all my paper crafts out again. ?
Thank you so much for sharing with us, and linking up at Sundays on Silverado Link Party!

Such a beautiful card without a lot of time spent making it! That’s an excellent idea to use up leftover paper scraps from other projects. I need to visit the scrapbooking department more often, that fiber paper is so pretty!

Those are so pretty! I have been trying to send cards to family and friends recently to spread some joy during the pandemic (and to help out the USPS!)… I thrift/antique shop most of my cards, but I should start making them as well – sounds like a fun activity!
