I have been experimenting for a new coffee body butter and I am just so happy I found my favorite formulation for this coffee bean infused whipped body butter. With my love for coffee and all things coffee, another whipped coffee butter is exactly what I needed. I usually run out of it fairly quickly. If you try to make this one I am sure you will fall in love with it as well. It is very light and fluffy and it stays wonderfully light at room temperature.

This coffee bean infused whipped body butter formulation and DIY I share below is rich and yet feels very light on the skin. It is a great moisturizer for the skin. I love this whipped coffee body butter, it is super luxurious, and smell amazing. I added vanilla and coffee shop fragrance to the already amazing coffee aroma of the coffee butter infused jojoba oil and this combination is absolutely perfect.
Ingredients to make the coffee bean infused whipped coffee body butter

- 1 oz of jojoba oil
- 2 tsp of arrowroot powder
- 0.05 oz vitamin E oil
- 0.05 oz Fragrance (I combined Vanilla and Coffee Shop) optional
- 0.05 oz Coffee Seed Oil
- 1/4 cup of coffee beans
- 2 – 8 oz plastic jars
- Hand mixer
- Mixing bowls
How to infuse oil with coffee beans for whipped coffee body butter
To infuse the coffee beans into the jojoba oil place both the coffee beans and the jojoba oil in a metal bowl and simmer using a double boiler. Allow the infusion to take place for approximately 30 minutes then remove from the heat and allow the oil to cool.
Drain the infused jojoba oil using a cheese cloth.
How to make coffee bean infused whipped body butter
In a mixing bowl combine the coffee butter with the vitamin E oil and whip for approximately 2 minutes. Once the coffee bean infusion is cooled add the infused oil to the coffee butter bowl and continue to mix for another two minutes to combine. Once combined add the fragrance oils if using and the coffee seed oil. Then whip the butter and oils for another two to three minutes.
The fragrance is optional as the coffee butter and the coffee bean infusion already have the perfect coffee aroma. I like the vanilla and coffee shop combination because it truly is heavenly. The coffee shop fragrance is one of my favorites it is just indulgent. The combination of those two scents is just wonderful, if you love coffee you will certainly enjoy this scent. I added only a small amount and kept it to about one percent of the formulation but you can certainly use more if you like a stronger scent.
Add the arrowroot powder and continue to whip for 5 to 7 minutes until the body butter is light and fluffy and has the soft whipped consistency. Keep in mind that with the whipping of the butter it will double in volume, use a large enough bowl for this recipe.
Something to keep in mind when making body butters is the temperature in the room. If you are making this recipe in a hot environment, you can put the mix in the refrigerator for a few hours and allow it to cool before whipping it. I’ve never had any issues with this coffee butter even in the warm temperatures of Texas.
How to save the whipped coffee body butter
Transfer the body butter to your favorite container and use as needed. Either glass or plastic container will work. Make sure to use an air tight seal container and it will help with keeping the body butter longer. Keep the body butter in a cool place and use as needed.
Using a piping bag, and piping the body butter in the container makes it look like real icing! The body butter smells delicious, good enough to get anyone confused – just don’t eat it. Its that good!
I absolutely love the way this whipped coffee body butter turned out. I am certain I will make it again very soon! Also, if you are a coffee lover or have a coffee lover in the family you may want to check out the Ultimate List of Gift Ideas for coffee lovers.
