I’m excited to share this lovely and luxurious Creme Brulee Whipped Soap DIY. This is a gourmand soap with a lovely sweet aroma of one of the richest desserts I love. This is the first time I have used this sweet gourmand scent and it is lovely. I think it is great as we transition from winter to spring. The aroma is like walking into a lovely bakery with the most wonderful and sophisticated desserts. I decided to pair it with a subtle copper color mica to represent that crisp sugar on top of the actual dessert.

I love making whipped soap and I am so glad I get to share so many ideas for you to try on this website. Whipped soap is incredibly versatile—you can easily customize it with different colors and scents to create unique whipped soaps for every season and every unique friend. For this creme brulee soap DIY, you can use a whipped soap base or make your own. I have a DIY whipped soap base from scratch post that you can use to make your base from scratch. Otherwise, I recommend one of my favorite store-bought whipped soap bases, listed in the ingredients list below. This creme brulee whipped soap is a great hostess gift to make for friends and family any time of the year.
Creme Brulee Whipped Soap with Golden Jojoba Oil
I like alternating my designs to give you different options and ideas. I usually share how to make a two-tone DIY like the Sweet Cardamon Chai whipped soap from last month, or a simple one color like the one I am sharing today. You can use this formulation and colors, and use other colors that you may have at home.

In this whipped soap DIY formulation, I’ve added Kokum butter and Mango butter. Kokum butter is one of my favorites to add to my skincare products, it is non-greasy and a harder butter with a higher melting point than shea butter, another one of my favorites. I use it all the time in my cold process soaps, whipped soaps, and body butters. It is great for skin care products. You can also use one or the other, whichever you prefer, but I like this combination, which makes the soap more rich, just like the dessert and scent that inspired it.
Benefits of Kokum Butter:
Kokum butter is a luxurious and deeply nourishing ingredient that offers incredible benefits for homemade skincare products. Packed with essential fatty acids and antioxidants, it is known to help restore skin elasticity and promote a smooth, supple texture. Research suggests that kokum butter supports skin regeneration, making it ideal for dry, damaged, or aging skin. I love that it absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue, making it perfect for all skin types. Its rich emollient properties help lock in moisture, it is known to soothe irritation and protect the skin from environmental stressors. Plus, kokum butter is non-comedogenic, meaning it won’t clog pores. With its firm yet creamy texture and neutral scent, it blends beautifully into skincare formulations, enhancing their quality and effectiveness while delivering a spa-like experience right at home.
You can also replace the kokum butter with shea butter.

How to make Creme Brulee Whipped Soap with Golden Jojoba Oil
Separate 4 ounces from the whipped soap base container and place in a mixing bowl. Learn how to make whipped soap base from scratch in this post.

Weigh out the 0.5 ounce of kokum butter and 0.5 ounce of mango butter and melt them in the microwave.
Add the golden jojoba oil, Vitamin E oil, and fragrance oil if you plan to use it, and mix well.
Add the mix to the whipped soap base and whip for five to seven minutes.
Mixing for five to seven minutes will incorporate air into the mix and will create the light and fluffy consistency of the whipped soap. Be patient, it is worth it.

Other oils I have used for whipped soap that are also great for the skin and can be used as a replacement for golden jojoba oil are rice bran oil, sweet almond oil, and grapeseed oil – all great for the skin with wonderful moisturizing properties. Rice bran oil is a wonderful replacement as it is also high in Vitamin E. I always keep these oil options on hand for my cold process soap formulations.
How to color the Creme Brulee whipped soap
Since I decided to keep this soap beginner friendly, I only used a copper color mica.
Mix in the copper color mica thoroughly using a spatula.

To pipe the whipped soap into the jars, place the soap into a piping bag and pipe the whipped soap into the saving jars.

Use it as often as you want. This is just a great treat for the shower or bath.
Perfect as a gift whipped soap!
In addition to being a great skin-loving shower treat to make for yourself, this whipped soap is a great gift idea for the person in the family that loves desserts and loves the gourmand scents in skin care products.
