This pumpkin mocha latte whipped body butter formulation and DIY I share below is rich in antioxidants. Both the pumpkin seed oil and the coffee seed oil are full of antioxidants and help with skin elasticity. Lots of great properties in only those two ingredients but it gets better with the added Vitamin E. This fall body butter formulation is a great moisturizer for the skin. This body butter is super luxurious, has an amazing scent, and feels very light on the skin. The coffee seed oil has a wonderful and strong coffee aroma. The cocoa butter also has the perfect chocolate scent. This is enough to give this wonderful pumpkin mocha latte body butter the perfect scent. However, I added less than 1 ml of pumpkin mocha latte fragrance to further enhance the scent but this is completely optional. Another option for an additional fall scent is the pumpkin pecan waffles fragrance, this scent is more sugary but still great. You should consider it as well when trying this whipped body butter DIY.

How to make pumpkin mocha latte whipped body butter
In a microwave safe container combine the solid ingredients. The solid ingredients are the shea butter, mango butter, and cocoa butter. Melt these ingredients using the microwave using 30 seconds interval. For the size of this body butter recipe formulation, it took one minute and 20 seconds to fully melt. Do not overheat these ingredients so that all the fantastic skin properties are maintained.
Once the solid ingredients are melted add the liquid ingredients. The liquid ingredients are the pumpkin seed oil, vitamin E oil, and the coffee seed oil. Mix all the ingredients together for a few seconds and place them in the refrigerator for about 45 minutes. The body butter needs to be cooled quickly to avoid any degradation of the shea butter.
Remove the body butter from the refrigerator and add the arrowroot powder and the fragrance if you plan to use it. Mix for one to two minutes to combine. Continue to mix for another 5 to 7 minutes to get the wonderful light whipped consistency.
At this point, you can save the body butter in the jars and keep them in a cool place. I prefer to pipe the body butter so it can get that beautiful piped look. For this simply add the body butter to the piping bag and pipe it into the jars.
This body butter is whipped therefore keep in mind that it will double in size. For the four ounces I made here I was able to fill a full 8-ounce jar and half of a 4-ounce jar.
A few tips for troubleshooting while making this body butter
Something to keep in mind when making body butters is the temperature in the room. If you are making this recipe in a hot environment and it starts to melt when whipping place back in the refrigerator for another couple of minutes.
Body butters are very rich since they do not contain any water. I think this body butter recipe is perfect however if you want a less oily feel try increasing the amount of arrowroot powder. This will help. Increase slowly using 1/2 teaspoon at a time until you find the perfect consistency for you.
How to save the whipped coffee body butter
Transfer the body butter to your favorite container and use it as needed. Either glass or plastic containers will work. Make sure to use an air-tight seal container as it will help with keeping the body butter longer. Keep the body butter in a cool place and use it as needed.
Using a piping bag, and piping the body butter in the container makes it look like real icing! The body butter smells delicious, good enough to get anyone confused – just don’t eat it. It’s that good!
I prefer body butters over lotions. I love the rich feel and that the skin feels moisturized for a bit longer than most of the lotions available.

Can you use this on your face

Hello, this body butter can be used in the face, however I have never used a body butter in my face so I cannot give any additional feedback. The ingredients used are considered non comedogenic which should not clog pores. I would recommend to try in a small area first. I do recommend this body butter for arms, elbows, legs, it is a great body butter to try.
