I love this exfoliating whipped soap because it is so easy to make and the variations to create are endless. Whipped soap is so versatile; it’s amazing what combinations you can come up with by adding color, fragrance, or oil to further moisturize your skin. In this recipe, I’ve added some jojoba beads to come up with this very luxurious, moisturizing, and exfoliating whipped soap.

How to make Exfoliating Whipped Soap with Jojoba Beads
I am so excited to share this recipe, it is not only very quick to make, I love how soft it leaves the skin and with the added benefits of Vitamin E is definitely a keeper. The jojoba beads are a great addition for a subtle exfoliation of the skin.
Exfoliating Whipped Soap Ingredients
- 8 oz foaming bath butter
- 1 oz Golden Jojoba Oil
- 1 tsp Vitamin E Oil
- a few drops of your favorite citrus fragrance or essential oil (I love lime essential oil – learn more about essential oils)
- 1/8 tsp Mica soap colorants (optional)
- 1/4 tsp purple Jojoba beads (alternatives to amazon are brambelberry.com or bescented.com for good quality jojoba beads)
- Hand mixer
- Mixing bowls
- 2 – 4 oz jars with lid
Step by step exfoliating whipped soap making with jojoba beads
First, separate 8 oz from the foaming bath butter soap base container and whip for approximately two to three minutes; it will start turning in that beautiful whipped consistency.
Then add the golden jojoba oil, vitamin E, and any essential oil or fragrance if you plan to include it. Then continue to whip for another two to three minutes until fully combined and an airy consistency is obtained.
The golden jojoba oil can be replaced with various other skin loving oils such as olive oil, avocado oil, sweet almond oil, and even shea butter. Take a look at the list below of some of my favorite whipped soap DIY ideas.
I like to combine the mica colorants using a spatula first. This allows me to mix carefully without creating a cloud of colorant all over my working area.
The last thing you want to add is the jojoba beads and mix well using a spatula.
Once all ingredients are mixed in you can save the luxurious exfoliating whipped soap in the saving jars and use it as needed. These are great in the shower using a loofah.
I truly enjoy making whipped soap. I hope you find it a new creative venue as well.
