Melt and pour soaps are a fun and quick way to create something special, and one of the things I love most about them is that they’re ready to use as soon as they’ve cooled and been unmolded. In this DIY, I’m excited to share how to make a marbled Halloween-themed aloe soap using a cute soap mold I’ve had for a while. I’ve used this fun and festive soap mold before on some fun Halloween cold process soaps DIY. But since Halloween is quickly approaching I wanted to create a quick and easy DIY that you can make in one day! It’s perfect to make by yourself and with kids!

For this melt and pour soap I am using a marbled technique with green mica and activated charcoal for the black color. I am using fun Halloween themed soap mold but you can use any mold you have on hand; even a milk carton box will work. The marbled technique is another way to create intricate designs for your handmade soaps.
There are so many wonderful melt and pour bases. I’ve listed some below. For this melt and pour halloween soap I chose the aloe vera melt and pour base. This base has aloe already included in it which has wonderful skin properties and is very soothing for the skin. It is one of my favorites and I always keep at home.

How to make Halloween marbled aloe melt and pour soap
The steps are relatively easy and the final product is just beautiful.
Start by cutting the aloe melt and pour soap base into small cubes and separate 8 ounces in two separate microwave safe cups.
Melt the soap in the microwave using 30 second interval. Make sure the soap does not start boiling. This can reduce the lather properties of the soap base.
Once the soap is melted add a small amount of the green mica to one of the bases and the activated charcoal to the second cup. Mix well using a spoon.
Using both hands pour the Halloween aloe soap into the mold as shown in the picture below.
Allow up to two hours for the marbled Halloween aloe vera soap to cool.
Remove the soap from the mold and enjoy.
These Halloween soaps are fun and cute, perfect as hand soaps, and great as a gift!

You simply melt the soap base, add your desired colors, scents, and additives, pour it into molds, and let it set. It’s a quick and convenient way to create custom soaps with minimal effort.
