Using bath salts in your bath helps with muscle relaxation and toxins removal. I have shared earlier a recipe for making bath salts (see it here), but I recently received the mooncake molds and decided to try a modified version of the recipe and use the new mooncake mold to make bath salt bars. I was very pleased with how beautiful these bath salts bars turned out.

This recipe only has four ingredients but be sure to try and experiment with other ingredients.
How to make bath salt bars
Ingredients & Materials:

- 8 oz of Epsom Salt
- 2 TBSP baking soda
- 1 TBSP distilled water
- 1 teaspoon of Jojoba oil
- 15-20 drops of Lavender or Grapefruit Essential oil (or your favorite Essential Oil), you can purchase essential oils here.
- mooncake mold
- wisk
- glass bowl
Combine all the ingredients in a glass bowl and mix thoroughly with a wisk.
After combining all the ingredients, place the mix inside the mold and pack tightly. Press the mold in a flat surface and lift carefully.
I decided to add a bit more luxury to these bars and added a small amount of colored dead see salts and some glitter to the top for a more beautiful look.
Allow to dry for a few hours. The bars will be hard. In order to use simply toss one or two into the bath water and relax.
I think these turned out beautiful. These could be a great DIY gift for friends and family.

I’m wondering if these could be put in the oven on the lowest temp to dry them out faster? I have a convection oven. Has anyone tried it?
