Winter Paper Cut Out Effect Digital Art

I thoroughly enjoy creating art pieces, it is a fantastic way for me to explore my creativity and of course, continue to learn new techniques. Traditional methods for creating art are a wonderful way to create and express the beauty of a fine piece of art, however, I created this art digitally using an app called Procreate. You don’t have to be an artist by trade to express your imagination and create beautiful art. It is great as a hobby to express yourself and develop creativity. I believe these are great ways to relax and find some joy in the small things in life. I created this winter paper cut-out effect digital art to share with you today. This digital art is just perfect for seasonal decorating the house, but if it matches the design colors, it could be showcased all year long. I had so much fun making it and hope you enjoy it.

I am so impressed with all the capabilities of the Procreate app. There are so many brushes and the possibilities are endless, it is also another way to make good use of an iPad and an apple pencil. There are other apps that I like to use on my iPad and I’ll share some more on those in later posts, but another good app I can recommend is GoodNotes; it is perfect for taking notes and journaling.

How to use the winter paper cut-out effect digital art

You can immediately use this lovely art by simply printing it and framing it and use as wall art. The digital art is 11 x 14 inches in size and can be printed professionally if you want to. A great place to print digitally is Canvas World. I love the gorgeous canvas overlay in this art, it really takes it to the next level. Another way to use this winter digital art to decorate is to use the technique I used in the Thanksgiving printable DIY transformation. In that post, I transformed the printable by adding it to a canvas and built a wood frame around it. You can also print it in small size and use it as a card this Holiday season.

Digital art can be used to create wonderful gifts as well.

There are two ways you can download the free art.

Download the free PNG file by right-clicking on the picture below and selecting “save picture as”. Then save it in a folder on our computer.

Download the PDF file here.

I would love to see pictures of how you use this art. Tag me on Instagram and Facebook if you use those.

Take a look at some of my art on actual products at my Etsy Shop Eccentricities Designs (mostly printable cards and wall art) and on Society6. There are great products from wall art, to bar stools, cellphone covers and so much more. Great for gift ideas for friends and family!

Marbled Clay Palette DIY

These past few days I have been good at keeping my daily painting practice.
