Materials needed for the Winter Wonderland Star

  • Dollar Tree craft star
  • Silver vinyl

Easy DIY Winter Wonderland star materials

Step by step winter wonderland decorating star

Paint the craft start using the light blue color paint and allow to dry. Then apply a coat of the ivory pearl metallic paint and allow to dry.

While the paint is drying cut out the Winter Wonderland words and snowflakes using the Silhouette machine and the vinyl.  I cut the snowflakes in various sizes to give some visual contrast.

Using the transfer paper, transfer over the vinyl words and the snowflakes on to the wood star.  I applied first the words to make sure they are centered and the snowflakes then around the words.

Easy DIY winter wonderland star attaching the words and snowflakes to the star

Tie or glue together the pine cones and the pine branches and use the hot glue gun to glue onto the Winter Wonderland star.

This was a fun simple project with a great decorating item for the winter decorations.

Finished Winter Wonderland Star

Use the new winter wonderland star in the mantle above the fire place or along with other winter decorations at home and enjoy a lovely DIY winter wonderland!
