As I mentioned in last week’s post I have been experimenting a lot with line art and I am loving it. As with everything, it does take practice to enhance the skill and continue to get better and create beautiful art. Since I have been using a lot of digital methods for creating my art lately I have been working on striking a balance between analog and digital. As you know I am a “setting up goals and working towards them” person and I have set a goal to balance my digital and analog art creation. Of course, for any analog art piece, I will digitize it. I show you how to digitize your art in this easy-to-follow blog post. However, I love traditional art methods and today I am sharing this line art roses printable.

While I did take some art classes growing up I am a self-taught artist. You don’t have to consider yourself an artist to express your imagination and create beautiful art. Use art creation time as an opportunity to develop a new hobby or even as a meditation practice, it is a great way to stay present and focused.

You don’t need to get expensive materials to create fun art. I created this line art using one of my favorite gel pens. But there are a lot of great pen markers that you can use to start with. I added a bit of watercolor texture to the rose buds from my watercolor paintings and I think the combination of the line art, flower colors, and the texture on the rose buds makes this a nice art piece. My favorite watercolors that I have been using lately are the Winsor & Newton Cotman series, these are the more affordable version designed for students but are perfect if you are starting out or even experienced. If you are ready to take it to the next level I recommend the Winsor & Newton Professional watercolor set. There are so many brushes and brush sets available as well, this is the watercolor brush set that I am currently using.

How to use the floral arrangement line art printable

You can immediately use this lovely art by simply printing it and framing it and use as wall art. The digital art is 8.5 by 11 inches in size and can be printed professionally if you want to. A great place to print digital art is Canvas World.

Another great way to use this fun line art printable is to use it as a background in digital scrapbooking. You can also print and add it to a fun mixed media art. Another way is to use them for a thank you card or thinking of you cards. Another fun way to use this roses line art printable to decorate the home is to use the technique I used in the Thanksgiving printable DIY transformation. In that post, I transformed the printable by adding it to a canvas and building a wood frame around it.
