Super Easy to Make Glittery Christmas Gift Tags DIY

This is a super easy, yet fun craft to work on before you wrap the Christmas gifts this year.  These glittery Christmas gift tags take about 10 minutes to make, then allow to dry fully for about 20 minute and voila… beautiful glittery Christmas gift tags.  These will be perfect for the DIY gifts planned for Christmas this year.  I have some of DIY gift ideas that can be great gifts this Christmas season.  I recommend this Sugar Scrubs DIY post which has four different options of sugar scrubs to gift this season.  Another great handmade gift option is a body butter, who doesn’t love a good body butter during the winter season?  The DIY lavender whipped body butter and the Turkish Mocha body butter are other great option to gift this season.

Now to wrap those gifts and label this is a very unique way to add another layer of handmade to the gifts this Christmas season.

Gather the materials

DIY glittery Christmas gift tags - materials

  • Natural canvas gift tags
  • Christmas stamps
  • stamping ink
  • glitter
  • glue

Make Glittery Christmas gift tags in just 5 steps

DIY glittery Christmas gift tags

  1. Stamp the gift tag using the various stamps in red and green.  Any color that matches the style for your gifts will do but I love the traditional red and green colors.
  2. Layout the additional design on the tag using the glue.
  3. Sprinkle glitter over the design and the stamping while wet and allow to dry.
  4. Remove excess glitter.
  5. Attach the twine to the grommet.

So super easy to make for a fun craft this Christmas season.  Another way to use these gift tags is to hang them on a small Christmas tree.  I think they can serve double purpose.  At home we usually have our large family Christmas tree and a smaller one by the entry door and maybe another one in the second floor.  This fun tags can be easily converted into fun ornaments.  However for now I will continue to use them as initially intended.
